Sungrow takes 1,500-V string and central inverters on U.S. roadshow

Sungrow Roadshow 2020

Sungrow is starting road shows in the USA and introducing the latest 1,500 V solutions for central and string inverters, which are tailored to North America. The 17-stop tour began in Denver on November 2nd and will last through December. The products are exhibited in a tractor-trailer.

The outdoor inverter solution SG 3600UD-MV for 1,500 V systems is optimized for installations on a supply scale. It has a high DC / AC ratio of up to 2.0 and is compatible with bifacial modules and tracking systems, which enables high yields. The inverter is pre-built with inputs for DC coupled storage solutions that could be added at a later date. In addition, the PCS mode is supported so that the battery can be charged via the mains and the regulation is more flexible. In addition, the inverter solution equipped with the self-designed function can build AC power by controlling the inverter to operate in the voltage frequency mode, thereby providing AC power for debugging the equipment in advance, ensuring a shorter commissioning time.

You can also see the 1,500 V string inverter SG250HX, one of the best-selling PV inverter solutions for applications on a supply scale with over 5 GW.

“Sungrow is pleased to present the latest product portfolio in the creative and immersive roadshow amid a pandemic. Maintaining social distancing is our priority to ensure the health and safety of local attendees, ”said Hank Wang, general manager of Sungrow Americas.
