With total deliveries of more than 126 GW (or 126,735 MW), global deliveries of photovoltaic inverters (PV) rose 18 percent year-on-year in 2019, according to the global energy research and consulting company.
According to the new analysis by Wood Mackenzie or popularly known as WoodMac, the top ten global PV inverter suppliers for 2019 include Huawei, Sungrow, SMA, Power Electronics, Fimer, Sineng, SolarEdge Technologies, Growatt, TMEIC and Ginlong Solis.
GoodWe, Fronius, Ingeteam, TBEA Sunoasis, KSTAR and Chint Power Systems were among the world’s leading providers of solar PV inverters.
Among all the leading inverter suppliers, the China-based inverter manufacturer Growatt delivered a total capacity of more than 5 GW during the course of the year and secured 8th place.
In the APAC region, however, Growatt ranked 4th as the PV inverter supplier in the region, according to the report, and remained at the forefront of inverter suppliers who focus on the manufacture of string inverters.
Recently, according to research and consulting firm JMK Research & Analytics, the company was ranked as the leading inverter supplier for the solar roof sector in India.

In addition, Zhang attributed the company’s performance to its exceptional on-site serviceability.

In Brazil we established a service center last year and entered into a partnership with Aldo Solar, the largest distributor on the market, ”added Zhang. Growatt has launched intensive marketing campaigns on the American continent and sales are increasing significantly.
The company has now been present in Europe for almost 10 years and its products are enjoying increasing popularity in the region due to their higher efficiency, superior quality and increased safety. It also claimed to have pursued a global localization strategy in recent years and gained strong growth momentum worldwide.
