Question: How do you see consumer awareness over the years when choosing an inverter brand in India? How can it be improved?
Today’s consumer is intelligent, detail-oriented and well-equipped with the appropriate knowledge. Most importantly, the consumer is only investing money in an efficient manner, fully caring about the ROI. To support and improve consumer knowledge of solar inverters, GoodWe James launched a remarkable GoodWe Solar Academy initiative, which is dedicated to improving customer knowledge on building an efficient and affordable photovoltaic system.

Question: How does GoodWe get the upper hand on technological advances and innovations in its products?
GoodWe offers a solar inverter solution from the MT series with an output of 50 kW to 80 kW. MT series inverters have become a necessary choice for C&I and utility scale projects due to their technological strength for high performance even in harsh conditions of 50 degrees Celsius. The inverters of the MT series are equipped with a DC overload of 50 percent and an AC overload of 15 percent as well as 4 MPPT with a range from 200 V to 1000 V. The inverter is designed for extreme conditions such as high heat of 50 degrees Celsius, high humidity of 85 percent and protection class IP65 in order to keep it operational in heavy rain and dust.
PV technology has evolved quickly to reduce the LCOE and the PV inverter plays an important role. The inverter solutions of the MT series have an IP65 degree of protection, but they have an intelligent ventilation design that enables strong heat dissipation with the aid of intelligent fans, thus ensuring a long product life. It offers an efficiency of 99 percent as well as a flexible and light design. The 80 kW inverter of the MT series weighs only 72 kg and is therefore easy to use and maintain.

GoodWe is proud to introduce the ESA series, an all-in-one hybrid system designed to make the installation process as easy as possible. It consists of the following elements: a hybrid inverter, a battery bank and a pre-wired system in a modern cabinet; It also includes connection devices and a preset cable slot. It is estimated that this system reduces installation costs by up to 60 percent!
- Pre-installed devices: built-in DC switch, power switch (on-grid / backup), battery switch, switchboard, ground terminal and communication unit.
- Pre-wired design: the smart meter, battery and AC circuit breaker are pre-wired and pre-connected at the factory. Once the device reaches the end user, it is ready to be provisioned and installed.
- Pre-set cable slot: As part of the system design, there is a cable slot that can be used to place external PV and CT cables to the grid or loads.
