CHANGZHOU, China, November 27, 2020 / CNW / – On November 25, 2020, Trina Solar Limited’s Vertex S 400W + series ultra-high performance compact modules successfully completed all required reliability tests and received the IEC 61215 and IEC 61730 certificates. After the two certificates awarded to the Vertex 550W / 600W in October 2020 for the performance standards for photovoltaic modules according to IEC 61215 and the safety standards for photovoltaic modules according to IEC 61730, this is another milestone for the ultra-high-performance modules from Trinasolar.

The Vertex series contains highly efficient photovoltaic modules of the new generation, which were specially developed by Trinasolar for use in distributed roofs of residential and commercial buildings. The products use technologies such as 210mm batteries, multi-rail, non-destructive cutting, and high-density packaging with a maximum power of more than 405 W + and a module conversation rate of more than 21%. Compared to conventional home modules on the market, Vertex S offers decisive advantages such as a smaller profile, light construction, high performance, high efficiency, high power generation, flexible installation, good system adaptability, reliability, convenience in transport and environmental friendliness. Different exterior designs offer more options and meet the different needs of private and business customers. The calculation shows that for a pitched roof of 10 m * 5 m when using Vertex 405W products, an installed power of 10.935 kW can be achieved, which is reduced to 10.125 kW when using the 6 * 10 375 modules with 166 silicon wafers. Take Shandong for example, the additional capacity of 0.81 kW can generate an additional output of 1053 kWh and bring more return to users.

The Vertex series is compatible with the existing mainstream support system, optimizers and inverters for residential and commercial applications. The product is 1754 x 1096 mm and weighs 21 kg. Within the working range of the electrical parameters of conventional residential and industrial / commercial inverters, Vertex maintains a module shape and weight that allow easy installation on the roof. The newly introduced series consists of three products: Silver Border DE09, Black Aesthetics DE09.05 and Black Border DE09.08. These products can meet the different needs of different regions and customers. In order to meet the demands of the global market for ultra-high-performance modules (including the Vertex series), Trinasolar’s planned module production capacity is expected to exceed 50 GW in 2021.
