Amana Solar, a United Arab Emirates-based provider of sustainable energy for companies, has successfully implemented a roof-top solar system with 3,515 kWp in Trilogi’s Mega Distribution Center (DC) warehouse in Jebel Ali Freezone, which enables the growing logistics business to switch to clean energy quickly and cleanly Reduce energy costs by around AED 2.45 million in the first year of operation.
Today Trilogi is a rapidly growing logistics arm of the Gulf Marketing Group (GMG) operating in the United Arab Emirates and the GCC, providing air, sea and land freight solutions. The latest solar system will offset more than 80% of Trilogi’s electricity consumption in the warehouse, lower operating costs and reduce CO2 emissions by around 70,000 tons over its service life. This corresponds to a distance of 15,000 vehicles from the road and a consumption of 159,000 barrels of oil.
While the construction of the 68,000 m² Trilogi facility – consisting of six connected pitched roofs – was in progress, Trilogi and Amana Solar saw the opportunity to lead the warehouse into a more sustainable future with an ideal landscape for housing a solar power system. Amana Solar completed the project within three months of the Trilogi warehouse being built.

The solar system on the roof is expected to generate around 5.5 GWh in the first year of operation by using highly efficient Mono PERC modules and German string inverters, which decentralize the generation of clean energy and minimize downtime.
