The Renewable Energy Integration Group, a provider of design / engineering and hardware for DAS / SCADA for renewable energies, announced the start of the new REnergyWare division. REIG’s longstanding design, engineering, installation and commissioning of DAS / SCADA hardware solutions can now be coupled with a proprietary IoT cloud software platform for monitoring, reporting and controlling solar systems on a utility scale. In addition, a new tiered digital O&M service contract can provide the first level of monitoring, diagnosis, and management of the customer’s solar site from its operations center in Charlotte.
“We have received an overwhelming number of requests from our customers for a software platform that offers an improved dashboard, reports and analytics compared to what is available on the market today,” said Rene Robaina, COO at REIG. “We listened, delivered and went one step further by not only providing the REvolution IoT platform, but also an optional digital O&M service for our customers.”
The new REnergyWare division, in conjunction with REIG’s proven, UL-listed hardware products, will help reduce operating costs, maximize return on investment and improve efficiency for customers in the small to medium-sized solar PV industry.

RESource Digital O&M will remotely monitor and manage the solar and networked systems from REIG’s operations center in Charlotte, North Carolina. In the event of problems or alarms, REnergyWare technicians diagnose the problem remotely and fix it before dispatching field technicians to the site.
