Ecoppia, a pioneer in robotic solutions for photovoltaic solar systems, reports on another major project with 450 MW that was signed in October with Azure Power, the renowned solar energy company. The project is currently at an advanced stage and is scheduled to go into operation at the beginning of the first quarter of 2021.
Despite the ongoing global pandemic, Ecoppia has secured new projects for more than 10 GW for the past four quarters and has maintained an average annual growth rate (CAGR) of more than 280% for the past six years.
Without a physical presence, Ecoppia enabled its customers around the world to maintain optimal production while avoiding pollution losses and potential damage, so operations remain continuous even during the total shutdown. Covid-19 made it even clearer that full automation and advanced technologies are critical to maintaining optimal solar production.
For the past 7 years, Ecoppia has been one of the key pillars of the solar revolution, changing the way large solar sites are managed and operated as a key to reducing the LCOE.
This significant commitment is another vote of confidence from Azure Power in Ecoppia as Ecoppia deepens its compelling market share in India and extends its global reach with projects in North and Latin America and the Middle East.
Azure Power is part of a long list of leading energy companies recognizing the need for automated operations and management (O&M). As tariffs drop, the solar industry understands how important efficient O&M can be to staying profitable.
With a growing project pipeline, Azure Power needed a robust solution that could handle the crowd while maintaining optimal performance and creating environmentally friendly power generation.
“We are delighted to be working with a company that is ambitious in terms of both volume and quality,” said Jean Scemama, CEO of Ecoppia. “We see this long-term partnership as one of the growing signs that the solar industry is revolutionizing towards automated operations and maintenance. Ecoppia is proud to be at the forefront of this revolution and to witness the green recovery of the post-COVID-19 era support, “he said finished.

The environmental value of renewable energies varies from place to place
Washington DC (SPX) December 9, 2020
New investments in green energy will not have the same impact everywhere, researchers say. According to a new study published Monday in Nature Sustainability magazine, some places will achieve greater environmental benefits than others from renewable energy sources. “For years, researchers have taken different approaches to assess the environmental benefits of renewable energies,” said study co-author Harrison Fell in a press release. “The Energy Information Administration is starting … read more
